As the title suggests V1.1 for FSX (SP2) only is now available to download using your original download details. This is a complete new version of the scenery and not merely an update so this requires you to completely remove the old version (V1.0) from your computer before installing.

Changes:

  • Afcad updated to allow aircarft to correctly line up on taxiway E1 when departing from runway 28 (Sincere thanks to Damo)
  • Atc now calls out taxiway names instead of just a blank list
  • Height of airport lowered to match actual height which will allow AES to be compatible (soon)
  • Problem of sinking wheels at certain points on the runways now fixed

I also compiled the runway lights again with the latest version of scasm and have tested these on two differnt systems and cannot find a problem with them.

You can download the new version at the same location as your original download

Terry

Hi Terry,

Thank you for updating Dublin to version 1.1.  I uninstalled the previous version and installed 1.1 and the perimeter fences are still shimmering and along with some other area on the taxiways and tarmac. Its hard to take screens of this but I will glad to do so should you need them.

Edit: I replaced your fence.bmp with another sceneries fence.bmp and the shimmering on the perimeter fences is now gone.  As far as the taxiway signs, taxiway markings and the PAPI and RCLS lights are shimmering alot.  There are some spots on the tarmac/aprons that shimmer as well.

Regards,

David
